Universal Jet Aviation, a Florida corporation, is a privately held company, wholly owned by founder/President, and CEO, Michael McCauley. The company began operations as an aircraft charter/on-demand air taxi operator in 1994 at the Boca Raton Airport, located in Palm Beach County. Since then the company has diversified its business structure that includes an interior shop, an FAA Part 145 Repair Station, a worldwide “ten or more” passenger Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate, a fully established management company, and an aircraft sales division. Universal Jet Aviation is continuously increasing its market share and is quickly becoming one of the leaders in the industry and in the South Florida area.
President and CEO, is the founder of the company and head of the Aircraft Sales Division. Along with his experienced and knowledgeable sales team, Mr. McCauley has sold multiple aircraft for/to financial institutions, fortune five-hundred corporations, celebrities, and other private individuals worldwide. At the age of fourteen, Mr. McCauley worked part time at local airports to be around and absorb the aviation industry. He has the distinction of being in the Who’s Who of LearJet & Gulfstream Captains, having received his Pilot-in-Command rating at one of the youngest ages on record. Through his determination and vigilant academic studies of aviation, Mr. McCauley maintains numerous ‘type-ratings’ on a variety of aircraft models, and has accumulated over 10,000 hours of flight time. He has been a part of the Palm Beach County Community his entire life, allowing him the opportunity to reap the fruits of an affluent commercialized area and grow his business into prosperous corporation.
